Caring About the Numbers: A Sibling’s Experience

I was invited to write a story for 3.21, Canada’s Down Syndrome Magazine, in their special “The Money Issue.”

It is a story about a moment that caught me by surprise – when my brother, Paul decided he wanted to create a budget. I also share practical advice around the financial responsibilities of second generation caregiver, to safeguard our siblings money, budgeting and working towards realizing our siblings dreams for their lives..
